The NW series eccentric butterfly valve is characterized by the Wafer body in AWWA construction. Combining years of experience and research, the results are longer service life, excellent performance, ease of maintenance and interchangeability of components.
Concentric disc
Interchangeable seat
Monobloc
Disk configured for low load loss
Body
Built in a single piece, in the Wafer configuration, designed to ensure maximum safety and reliability (proven using finite elements). It has an extended neck allowing pipe insulation.
Disco
Disc configured to provide low pressure loss in the fully open position. The sealing area is polished around the entire perimeter, ensuring total sealing with the seat and low drive torque with less wear on the seal.
Haste
The upper rod transmits rotation to the disc through a torque plug, ensuring product performance and safety. Coupling dimensions follow the ISO 5211 standard.
Interchangeable seat
It completely covers the body, in vulcanized elastomer with a rigid ring, preventing deformation, reducing the drive torque and increasing the useful life of the seat.
Bushing
Made of bronze, it eliminates friction between the rod and body, providing torque reduction.
Drives
Allows coupling of manual, pneumatic and electric drives directly onto the top flange, which together with the rod, follows the ISO 5211 standard.
Finite elements
Project developed with the aid of software for analysis of finite elements ensuring greater structural reliability to the set.
