Air valves for Graco Husky AODD pumps are known for their simplicity of operation and few parts. In the animation below, Graco presents two solutions against spool centralization.
1) Mechanical: Solution is the spring-loaded roller piston system that operates in the center of the spool under a track, preventing the spool from being centered.
2) Pneumatic: In this system there is a compressed air channel which allows one side of the spool to always be pressurizing.
